Amy Parris, Instructor & Office Staff

Mrs. Amy Parris is from Spartanburg, SC and is a graduate of Paul M. Dorman High School. Amy attended Elon University in Burlington, NC. While away at school, she served as the Children’s Director at a local Methodist church and found her love for teaching children. She returned to Spartanburg and continued to find ways to serve youth, children and preschool through church opportunities. Most recently, she served as the Kids Director at Doxa Upstate where she and her family are charter members. Of all her roles, the one most precious to her heart is the role of “mommy.” She and her husband, Billy, have three girls, Abbie (11), Annelise (9), and Natalie (7), whom they homeschool. All three girls are also a part of our 3DCA dance family.

When Mrs. Amy was young, her life was touched by a very special dance teacher, Mrs. Libby Barrineau. As Amy takes on her role of preschool dance instructor at 3DCA, she will be thinking fondly of Mrs. Libby and the legacy she left with so many through her love of the Lord and her love of dance.

Mrs. Amy is proud to be CLI Studios Certified in preschool dance, and can’t wait to love on our littlest of dancers in her “Tutus & Bowties Preschool” Classes. Mrs. Amy is all about everything that sparkles and shines and she can’t wait to show our littlest dancers how they, too, can shine for the Lord through dance.
