Michelle Pittman, Owner/Director

 

Originally from Richmond, VA, Michelle has spent most of her life in the Spartanburg, SC area.  Michelle began her dance training at the age of 2  and was competing by the age of 5.  Michelle is trained in all forms of dance and acro/tumbling and has been instructing professionally for over 25 years.  Michelle has studied theatre, vocal performance, and piano, and studied Musical Theatre while attending Elon University.  Michelle has appeared in numerous musicals and plays, television commercials and print ads.  Michelle has toured and performed in numerous locations across North America and Europe, including performances at Euro Disney in Paris, France and Carnegie Hall in New York City, NY.  Michelle spends time each year traveling and training in places like New York City, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Los Angeles.  Currently, Michelle is the Owner/Director of 3DCA and is an instructor for both Recreational and Competitive dance and acro/tumbling classes.  Her dancers have received many Regional and National awards including 1st Place Overalls, Choreography Awards and Special Judges Awards.  Michelle is a member of Dance Masters of America, the Southern Council of Dance Masters (DMA Chapter 44), is CPR certified, CLI Studios certified, and is certified by Y.P.A.D (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance).  Under Michelle's direction, 3DCA was named a National Studio of Excellence Winner by the Association of Dance Conventions & Competitions (ADCC) in 2021.
