Whitney Whisenant Rawls, Instructor

 

Whitney Whisenant Rawls was born and raised in Gaffney, SC.  She started dancing at the tiny age of 3 and fell in love instantly.  Once she began middle school, Ms. Whitney started dancing competitively.  She received an athletic scholarship from Limestone College, now “University”, to be a member of their competitive dance team.  While on the team, Ms. Whitney was a captain for three years, 2-time team MVP and was named a National Dance Association All-American.  Her most favorite dance memory is dancing onstage with New Kids On the Block at the Bon Secours wellness arena last July.  She loves all styles of dance, but hip-hop and jazz are her top picks!
